Before you deploy: audit the fleet

Each of the ten machines must independently meet the Windows 11 requirements. Run PC Health Check across the fleet before purchasing, not after.

When a machine fails, check the BIOS before writing it off — a large share fail only because the firmware TPM is disabled (fTPM on AMD, PTT on Intel). Enabling it takes two minutes per machine and often converts an apparently incompatible PC.

For machines that genuinely cannot run Windows 11, our Windows 10 Pro 10-PC licence is the bridge — but note Windows 10 security updates end on 13 October 2026, so treat it as a migration step rather than a destination.

Deployment notes

Keep a written record of which machine consumed which activation. With ten activations in a single pool, an undocumented rebuild halfway through the year is the usual reason a business runs out unexpectedly.

If you are imaging machines, remember to generalise with Sysprep before capture. Deploying a non-generalised image across ten machines produces duplicate SIDs and activation problems that are far more work to unpick than to prevent.

How does the 10-PC multi-activation key work?

The key carries a pool of ten activations. Each PC draws one when it activates against Microsoft's servers. Machines activate independently and can have completely different hardware, so mixed-vendor fleets are not a problem.

Do all 10 PCs need to meet the Windows 11 requirements?

Yes, each machine independently: supported 64-bit CPU, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Audit the fleet with PC Health Check before buying. Machines that fail frequently need only fTPM (AMD) or PTT (Intel) enabled in the BIOS.

Is Microsoft Teams included with Windows 11 Pro?

No. Microsoft removed the pre-installed Teams Chat integration from Windows 11. Teams is a separate application and the free version can be deployed to all ten machines at no cost — it is simply not bundled with the operating system licence.

Can I deploy this with Sysprep and a master image?

Yes. Build your reference machine, generalise it with Sysprep, capture the image, then deploy and activate each machine with the multi-activation key. Skipping the Sysprep generalisation step causes duplicate SIDs and activation failures across the fleet.

Does this include Group Policy and domain join?

Yes. Windows 11 Pro includes Group Policy Management, Active Directory domain join and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) join, so all ten machines can be centrally managed. A Home licence provides none of this.

What happens when a machine is rebuilt or replaced?

A rebuild on the same hardware normally reactivates without consuming an extra activation. Replacing a machine outright does consume one from the pool. If you exhaust the pool through legitimate rebuilds, contact us with your order number and we will look at it case by case.

I need more than 10 seats — what are my options?

Activations cannot be added to an existing key, so contact us before purchasing if you expect to exceed ten. We quote larger deployments directly rather than having you stack multiple keys, which is harder to track and usually costs more.
