Return & Refund Policy

At LicenGold, customer satisfaction is our priority. However, due to the nature of digital goods, we apply a specific return and refund policy that complies with applicable international laws and best practices for digital content.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies exclusively to digital products sold on www.licengold.com, primarily consisting of software license keys.

2. No Right of Withdrawal After Delivery

In accordance with Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the digital content has been delivered and the performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose your right of withdrawal.

By purchasing from LicenGold, you explicitly agree that:

  • The product is delivered digitally and instantly upon purchase or shortly after via email or account dashboard;
  • Performance begins immediately after payment is processed;
  • Once the license key or activation code is issued or accessed, you waive your statutory right of withdrawal.

3. Refund Eligibility

As a general rule, all sales are final once the product key is delivered. However, we may consider refunds under the following exceptional conditions:

  • The product key has not been delivered (e.g., technical failure or order error);
  • The product key has not been used, activated, or redeemed in any form, and the request is made within 30 days of purchase
  • The product key is demonstrably defective, invalid, or non-functional, and all troubleshooting steps have been followed without resolution.

LicenGold may request screenshots or other documentation to verify your claim.

4. Ineligible Situations

Refunds will not be granted under any of the following circumstances:

  • The license key has already been activated
  • The customer provides false or manipulated evidence of non-activation;
  • The customer changed their mind or purchased the wrong product by mistake;
  • The software is incompatible with the customer’s system due to unsupported OS, hardware, or regional restrictions not caused by LicenGold;
  • The customer failed to read the product description or usage instructions provided on the product page.

5. Technical Issues

If you encounter any technical issue with activation, installation, or compatibility, we encourage you to contact us at contact@licengold.com before assuming the key is invalid. Our support team is available to assist you and resolve the problem as efficiently as possible.

6. Fraudulent Claims and Abuse

We actively monitor suspicious or fraudulent refund requests. Any attempt to exploit our policy or submit false claims may result in a permanent account ban and legal action.

Eligible refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase. Requests submitted beyond this timeframe, or those not meeting the conditions outlined in Section 3, will not be accepted.

Once a refund has been approved by our support team, the amount will be reimbursed to the original payment method used for the transaction. Refunds are typically processed within 5 business days following confirmation. Please note that banking institutions may require additional time to reflect the refunded amount in your account.

8. Language and Governing Law

This policy is written in English. In case of any ambiguity or translation discrepancy, the English version shall prevail. This policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where LicenGold operates.
